Dan McCormack Named New Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum

Spectrum Healthcare Partners and Spectrum Management Services Company announced the appointment of Dan McCormack as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026.

“We are excited to welcome Dan to Spectrum,” said Dr. Michael Quinn, President and Chairman of the Board. “Dan has a respected history of successfully leading large physician groups in the Portland area. He is uniquely positioned to lead us into our next chapter of growth and excellence.”

Dan has more than 20 years of experience leading large physician medical groups and he has a reputation for building strong organizational cultures that support high performing practices. He has developed strategic plans that resulted in significant growth and strong financial performance. Dan has deep knowledge of health plan contracting to include agreements built to succeed in value-based care programs. He has managed IT systems implementations, built strong health informatics teams, and overseen major construction projects.

Prior to joining Spectrum, Dan served in CEO and COO roles in other medical groups, including Martin’s Point and Intermed. He also led a Provider Network Management team for a large national health plan and served in healthcare leadership roles in the U.S. Air Force.

Dan received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard College and his MBA from the University of Southern Maine. He currently serves on the board of directors for Maine Community Bank and the University of New England.
