About Charles

Charles is highly accomplished within the field of healthcare quality, risk management, and patient safety. He has been responsible for the overall risk management and patient safety program for teaching hospitals, such as Temple University Hospital, Tenet Healthcare Corporation, and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA. He has shown innovation throughout his career, maintaining, developing, and implementing online training programs for new residents, attending physicians, and specialty programs.

Charles has been a member of several healthcare risk management committees, a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), as well as a state chapter president and previous board member. He is an expert panelist and speaker and was recently published in The Journal of Surgical Education for informed consent and disclosure. He has his B.S. in Business Administration from Elmira College, as well as an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.
