About Gerry

Gerry Nannen serves as Practice Operations Consultant at Spectrum Management Services Company, where he leverages more than two decades of healthcare leadership to support the operational and strategic success of client organizations. His approach integrates deep financial expertise, organizational development, and a commitment to service excellence.

Prior to joining SMSC, Gerry held leadership roles including Chief Administrative Officer, helping grow practice revenue, led mergers and acquisitions, and expanded service lines across radiology, interventional services, and breast surgery. He has served in key executive positions, where he oversaw multi-specialty operations, developed strategic plans, and implemented growth and cost-saving initiatives.

As a healthcare consultant, Gerry has served as a fractional CEO and strategic advisor to imaging groups, health systems, and rural hospitals. His work has included imaging service line transformations, hospital-partner negotiations, and financial performance improvement strategies. Gerry is well known for building collaborative teams and promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

He holds an MBA from Saint Bonaventure University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University. Gerry is also an active member and past president of both the Buffalo Chapter and New York State Chapter of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
