About Jack
Jack Salamone serves as Network Engineer I in the IT department at Spectrum Management Services Company. He brings a broad range of technical experience to the role, from network engineering and system administration to cybersecurity and hardware deployment.
Before joining SMSC, Jack provided remote IT services to more than 100 unique client environments at Workgroup Technology Partners, managing network infrastructure including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and Sophos. His past roles also include Technology Support Specialist, overseeing school district technology distribution and network operations, and Server Administrator for a blockchain company where he built and maintained cloud-integrated blockchain infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Benefit Specialist, developing strong communication and customer service skills.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Loyola University Maryland. He is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core, and has completed additional coursework in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, Cisco Networking, SQL, and virtualization platforms.
