About David
David Landry is the chief executive officer for Spectrum Management Services Company and Spectrum Healthcare Partners, New England’s largest independent healthcare organization. Under David’s leadership and keen strategic vision, Spectrum Healthcare Partners has achieved significant operational and clinical success, including service line expansion, the addition of new sites of service, and significant revenue growth.
David has more than 25 years of experience in physician practice management, healthcare economics health policy, strategic planning, governance, managed care contracting, revenue cycle management, and healthcare informatics. He is a skilled healthcare leader with a particular talent for spearheading organizational growth, cultivating a wide array of business partnerships, and developing innovative approaches to maximize market opportunities. He has an impressive track record of success in helping clients across the U.S., with a focus in New England and New York.
David served as Spectrum’s chief operating officer for eight years prior to being named CEO in 2006. Before coming to Spectrum, David was the director of practice management for a large practice management and revenue cycle management company, where he managed a broad portfolio of client relationships.
In addition, David is also active in the community, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for the YMCA of Southern Maine, the state’s largest YMCA; as well as being a member of the Cabinet for the United Way of Greater Portland; a former Chair of the Southern Maine Heart Walk in support of the American Heart Association; and a former Cub Master for a local Cub Scout Troop.
David graduated summa cum laude from Bates College with degrees in economics and political science. He has advanced training at Thomas College and certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago and Harvard Business School.
