About Erica

Erica Biordi has proven healthcare management and leadership skills highlighting wide-ranging experience overseeing operations across many specialties, with a focus on project management, staffing, workflows, staff development, and financial performance. Her ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary partners for the development and implementation of process improvement and quality enhancement workflows has made her a valued team member. She applies these strengths as a practice director by building cohesive and highly functioning teams that foster relationships and empower others to develop and focus on their strengths in the delivery of efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care.

 

Prior to joining Spectrum, Erica was the practice manager of three robust pediatrics offices, fostering reliability as it relates to policies and procedures optimizing access to high value care and exceptional patient experience. Her experiences in practice leadership also span the emergency room and an inpatient telemetry unit, as well as an inpatient pulmonary and asthma care unit.

 

Erica received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership & Administration from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is a white belt in Lean Six Sigma. Erica served as a member of the FEMA-supported Hospital Emergency Response Team for Southern Maine. She is also a sexual assault forensic examiner for adults, adolescents, and pediatrics; and serves on the board of Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine (SARRSM).
